Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "T&C") govern the contractual relationships between Hurghada Travel Planner (hereinafter "Organizer") and the customer (hereinafter "Participant") for the booking and execution of tours, excursions, and other tourist services in Egypt. Deviating conditions of the Participant shall not be recognized unless the Organizer expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Booking and Contract Formation

Bookings are made via our website, email, WhatsApp, or telephone. The contract is concluded upon written confirmation (email/WhatsApp) by the Organizer. The booking is binding for both parties.

• The booking confirmation contains all essential information: tour, date, time, meeting point, price, and payment terms.
• Upon booking, either the full amount or a 30% deposit is due depending on the chosen payment method.
• Cancellation conditions are found in Section 4.
• Booking changes (date, number of participants, tour) are free of charge up to 24 hours before tour start, subject to availability.

3. Payment Terms

The Organizer accepts the following payment methods: Credit card (Visa, MasterCard), PayPal, bank transfer, cash payment on site. Online payments are processed securely via Stripe.

• Credit card (Visa, MasterCard), PayPal, bank transfer, cash.
• With deposit option: 30% of total price at booking, balance on-site in cash (EUR, USD, EGP) or by card.
• The remaining balance is due at the latest at tour start. Without full payment, there is no entitlement to participate.
• All prices are in Euro (EUR). Payments in other currencies are at the daily exchange rate.

4. Cancellation and Changes

Cancellations and changes must be made in writing (email/WhatsApp). The decisive factor is receipt by the Organizer.

• Up to 24 hours before tour start: Free cancellation, full refund.
• Less than 24 hours before tour start: 50% of total price as cancellation fee.
• No-show: 100% of total price.
• In case of force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, official orders), free cancellation or rebooking without fees.

5. Service Description and Changes

The exact scope of services results from the respective tour description on the website and the booking confirmation. The Organizer reserves the right to adjust the itinerary at short notice for important reasons (weather, safety, official orders). No liability for changed or omitted program items, unless the Organizer is guilty of intent or gross negligence.

• Transfers (hotel-hotel/airport) in air-conditioned vehicles.
• Licensed guides speaking German/English/French/Russian/Arabic.
• Water sports equipment (snorkel, mask, fins, life vest).
• Meals as per description (breakfast, lunch, drinks).
• Travel insurance not included – we recommend purchasing travel cancellation and international health insurance.

6. Liability

The Organizer is liable for damages based on intent or gross negligence without limitation. For slight negligence, the Organizer is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties) and limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage.

• In case of injury to life, body, health, the Organizer is liable without limitation.
• For property damage, liability is limited to three times the tour price.
• In case of force majeure (natural disasters, terrorist attacks, pandemics, official measures), liability is excluded entirely.
• Total liability is limited to three times the tour price, unless intent or gross negligence is present.

7. Payment Processing via Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe (Stripe Inc., 510 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). Stripe Terms of Service (https://stripe.com/legal) and Privacy Policy (https://stripe.com/privacy) apply. We do not store credit card data on our servers.

8. Data Protection

Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR. Data is used exclusively for contract fulfillment and communication. Disclosure to third parties occurs only for contract fulfillment (e.g., hotel, transfer partners) or legal obligation.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Slovak law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Bratislava, provided the customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law, or public-law special fund.
